COWGIRLS MARCH LUNCHEON: MONDAY, MARCH 10TH: 11:30 am- 1 pm Little America Hotel, Cheyenne, WY
GUEST SPEAKER: CAROLYN DURAND, JELM WYOMING RANCH HISTORY
We are very excited to have Carolyn Durand, one of our Cowgirls members for over 25 years. Her program will shed light on the ranching community of the Jelm territory. Carolyn grew up on the river not far from Bowman where Kay Gore, our 2021 Cowgirls Honoree, also grew up. Both of these ladies are long time active ranch women. Carolyn will talk about having a pet wolf and running a ranch where she tries to train elk to use the gates instead of going through her fences! As if that doesn’t make for some very exciting ranch tales, she’ll also tell us about the history and ranch life in the beautiful and rugged Jelm, WY area!
