COWGIRLS FEBRUARY LUNCHEON: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2025

GUEST SPEAKER- MARY GUTHRIE , PRESENTING “AMAZING GRACE: GRACE MCDONALD PHILLIPS, WYOMING’S FIRST LEGAL PRACTITIONER”

Mary’s program will include a description of some of the challenges early women lawyers experienced, and focus on Grace McDonald Phillips, who was an active Wyoming lawyer, beginning in the 1920’s. Mary is a Cowgirls member, and has given several lively programs to our group, on pioneer women, early days of lawyers and judges, and the suffrage movement. She is a Wyoming native, living in Cheyenne since 1977, a retired lawyer, and a talented and informative historian. This will be a great program and we look forward to having you attend!

THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME TO ATTEND OUR MONTHLY LUNCHEONS! Luncheons are held on the 2nd Monday of the month, from September to May, at Little America Hotel, Cheyenne, WY, at 11:30 a.m. For Reservations: Call 307-632-2814 by Thursday prior to the luncheon date. Cost is $25 with a reservation, and $30 for walk-ins without a reservation. Luncheons always feature very talented guest speakers presenting fascinating histories of our local area & the American West.
